    Portrayed in an intimate way, Big Kahuna is a ten episode series which reveals the ideas and countercultural attitude behind Surfing. Filmed in eight different countries, this series unveils some of the most important destinations in surf culture: San Francisco, Los Angeles, Rio de Janeiro, Lisbon, Biarritz and Bilbao, are part of the landscape and scenario in Big Kahuna ́s stories.

Launched on Portuguese territory in 2010, Black Box was the production company selected to produce the entire audiovisual campaign for both Television and MTV Portugal online.

    ("The First Frontier")

    Documentary Film - 52 minutes Broadcasted on Portuguese Public Television (RTP)

    Filmed in Lisbon, Oporto, Madrid, Bilbao and Barcelona, “A Primeira Fronteira” explores the motivations of three Portuguese who choose to leave Portugal and move to Spain. A businessman trying to create a global company, a top bodyboarder (surfer) trying to become the best in the world, and a street artist finding his path while developing a counterculture style; these are the stories told in this documentary.

    Documentary film - “Opening film at documentary week Madrid” / “Official Selection Docudays” - Beirut International Documentary Festival

    Staging the biggest meeting ever between European diplomacy and 53 African leaders – famous dictators included – Lisbon becomes the centre of the world. Europe and Africa meet in the Portuguese capital during one weekend for a massive media spectacle. For the first time ex- colonies display themselves ostentatiously with pop-like behavior before their old colonizers.

    Hugo Gonçalves is an explorer chasing controversial topics throughout the city of Lisbon. The show´s anonymous and well known protagonists help us understand the meaning of being Portuguese today. From rappers in “Cova da Moura” (one of the toughest neighborhoods in Lisbon) to socialites looking for fame, porn actors living their daily life and religious people searching for salvation.

    Red Bull contact us to produce a viral video to present Lagaet in New York while attending a break dance contest. Lagaet was the first Portuguese ever to be invited to this event: Red Bull BC ONE.
